We thought 72 degrees would be warm enough for a ride this weekend. Great to be out there, but the water temperature made it chilly. 5 Bald Eagles sighted in one ride.

Kudos to the person fishing in 47 degree water. (Small speck to the right of trees)

Enjoyed time out on the water with family last weekend. My son, Matt, was here and brought his drone so we put together this quick video showing off our boat on the Potomac by Occoquan Bay. Passengers are often surprised at the speed and handling of our "pontoon" which is really a luxury performance tritoon made by Bennington Marine. It is spacious like a pontoon but planes off and handles much like a traditional speedboat. I can hit speeds into the 30's even with a full boat. Enjoy some time on the water late this summer or into the fall.

We had a great friend and photographer out on the boat recently for a short ride. Sharing some of the great photos. Thank you, Barbara Paulus! We are keeping the boat in the water into October as late summer and early fall are beautiful times to be out on the river. Consider getting away from the everyday routine and booking an experience with us.

We keep our boat in the water in a covered slip which helps keep it clean and protected from bad weather. Being a boater most of my life, there is something enjoyable about cleaning and maintaining a boat. We clean the boat after every adventure and/or most days of the week. We use a little biodegradable boat soap, a soft boat brush and a sponge and we will bring her out of the water every 6-8 weeks to power-wash the pontoons. Nice sunset cruise yesterday with Ali and a friend. Hazy due to smoke here from western wildfires. Stopped by Tim’s Rivershore for food and drinks. Is a favorite and one of many great options accessible on the river.
