There are so many beautiful things that have shaped me into the person I am today.

I thought I would share this story today. It's about being sixteen, pregnant, and standing in an airport with my dad about to embark on a trip that would change everything. It's about a father's unconditional love, and how that love has now stretched across three generations.

The photo shows my son (at almost the same age I was then) sitting in the cockpit with his PopPop - the same remarkable man who stood proudly beside me all those years ago.
Some paths truly do come full circle, in ways we could never imagine. Creating travel experiences that last generations has become my life's work because I've lived it firsthand.

At sixteen and pregnant, a Spanish project trip with my supportive pilot father planted the seed for my passion as a travel consultant. Now, 23 years later, my son and his PopPop are best friends—proof that travel creates generational connections that last forever.

✨ THREE-TIME AWARD WINNER ✨

Fun fact: While I was trying to take my award photo, my grown son and my teenage son were off to the side plotting their next photobomb. 🤦‍♀️ You can’t see them in the final picture, but trust me....they were there, watching, waiting for the perfect moment to jump in and make me laugh. (Because apparently, no matter how old they get, embarrassing mom is still a sport. 😂)

But in all seriousness… my heart is so full right now. 💜 Last week, I won three awards with my agency, Dream Come True Vacations, and I owe it ALL to YOU....my incredible travel guests, my biggest cheerleaders, my friends.

If anyone knows me these days, they know I live on a very tight schedule. Between homeschooling my teens, driving them to their activities, and making sure my travel guests are taken care of, my days are full. But over the past decade of being a small business owner, I’ve learned something really important: thriving with joy is the only way to do it.

That’s why Fridays are sacred in my world. I check my kids’ independent schoolwork, which thankfully only takes a couple of hours. And then? It’s time for creative me-time.

Every Friday, I make space for something that fills my soul and gives me a solid recharge…which is usually my photography. It’s my happy place, my true love, my way of slowing down and soaking in memories. Lately, I’ve been working on photos from my August trip to Turks & Caicos. WOW. What. A. Beach. 😍

There’s just something about reliving those moments…the softest sand, the most perfect turquoise water, and the absolute peace that place brings. It reminds me why I do what I do… helping families create memories like these.
