Welcome to Happy Ours! Located in the beautiful development of Sunset Island in the heart of Ocean C

‘Happy Ours’ is our beautiful five-bedroom townhouse with room for 12 located in the development of Sunset Island. Sunset Island is a gated resort community located just off of 67th Street in Ocean City. It is a relaxing oasis, centrally located in one of the most popular beach towns in the US. This is the perfect get-a-way for anyone, and there is just so much to do just within as well as outside

the island neighborhood. There are several fine dining establishments, ale houses and wine bars, clubs and bars within walking distance, and many more along the OC bus route which conveniently stops about a block from the beach house. For family fun there is also mini-golf, Dumser’s Dairyland, Sweet Frog, movies on the beach, jet ski and boat rentals, Pirate excursions, dining with outdoor play area and, of course, the OC Boardwalk just to mention a few. Of course, it is also possible to have a perfect retreat while rarely leaving the island. The island has three private beaches on the Assawoman Bay, an interactive fountain for the kids to play in, and Fountain Treats our island general store for souvenirs, treats and groceries. Happy Ours is also just a few doors away from the bay and clubhouse where you’ll find the fitness center, and both indoor and outdoor pools. Drinks and meals can be purchased poolside or even enjoyed on the water at The Landing at Sunset Island. There is a one-mile nature path encircling the island, and along the path is the private fishing and crabbing pier for those staying here. Being located near the heart of Ocean City, MD, you will also be just across Coastal Highway from the ocean. It is the ideal location to be close to all that OCMD has to offer, but also private enough if you are looking for rest and relaxation. House Amenities include:

Happy Ours is accepting reservations for 2025.
Rates on ABB and VRBO are trending the pricing of other Sunset Island homes listed for next season. Below are the weekly base rates for guests that book through us (through a platform or directly with us). Reservations secured before February will be eligible for an additional 5-10% discount.
Inquires for dates before June 15th and after August 16th are welcomed. This time remains blocked on the public platforms. Pricing is based on availability and accommodations requested.

As the sun sets over Sunset Island this Labor Day weekend, our season officially comes to a close.
It has been a great season and we’ve had some wonderful families stay with us. Preparations and planning for Summer 2025 are already underway and reservations are being accepted. We hope that the remaining weeks are filled with some familiar families. We are currently holding our 2024 rates and offering direct bookings to returning guests. If you have a particular week in mind we can hold your dates until the new year. Returning guests are also welcomed to inquire about pre-season availability (before mid-June).

We have opened availability for August 25- Sept 4th, which includes Labor Day Weekend. This time can be reserved as mini-weeks for 3-night minimums.

We have just opened up the Happy Ours Calander to extend and include Labor Day weekend! Enjoy Sunset Island as the official beach season draws to a close.

Inquiries have been made, but reservations have not been accepted for July 14-21. Lots of fun activities planned for the week.

Good news for grillers- this season's addition to Happy Ours, the pellet grill, has been tested and approved.
We now have this pellet grill and a charcoal grill with propane ignitor during your stay.

The week of July 14-21 is still available if you haven't locked in your plans. Mini weeks will be considered. Contact us for direct pricing or scheduling details

If you're interested in using either of these grills, but not familiar, we are happy to provide instructions and tips.
