Today, we’re celebrating community and fitness at the OCNJ Half Marathon, 5K, and 10-Mile Non-Competitive Walk/Run! 🥇✨

🚨 IMPORTANT:
1. Race-day registration for the 5K starts at 6:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier!
2. The Half Marathon and 10-Miler kick off at 8:30 a.m., with the 5K following at 8:40 a.m.
3. Please be aware of some brief road closings, including the Ocean City-
Longport Bridge from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Drivers and boardwalk pedestrians should expect delays as our amazing runners pass by.

**Note: Bikes are not allowed on the boardwalk from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., but they’ll be welcome again after noon.

Fans are invited to join the fun at Manco & Manco Pizza on 9th Street and the Boardwalk on September 17th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 🎉

The Phillies Ballgirls will host “Planco & Planco at Manco,” featuring chances to win Phillies prizes throughout the event. 🏆

Guests will also have the opportunity to get autographs and photos with 1993 National League champions Milt Thompson and Mickey Morandini from 5:30-6:30 p.m. 🙌

Yesterday evening, we gathered for our annual memorial ceremony, "A Day to Remember," held outside the Ocean City Fire Department. It was a moving tribute to the lives lost on 9/11 and the enduring spirit of unity that emerged from such tragedy.

We were honored to hear from Mayor Jay Gillian, Police Chief Bill Campbell, Fire Chief Bernie Walker, and Firefighter Brian Green. Their words, along with the beautiful music and prayers, truly captured the solemnity and significance of the day. The Striking of the Four Fives was a particularly poignant moment, honoring the bravery of fallen firefighters.
