Kristin Rahn captured this bizarre image of what looks like floating hotels beyond the Ocean Isle Beach pier. Normally, they are not visible at all. What you're seeing here is a superior mirage. They occur when the air below the line of sight is colder than the air above it. Light rays passing through this temperature inversion cause light to be bent down so the image appears to be floating above the true object. Cool 📸Kristin!

Job Title: Reservationist - Vacation Rentals (Full Time)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Reservation Agent to manage booking inquiries, reservations, and guest communications for our portfolio of vacation rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of vacation rental management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle guest bookings via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Ensure the accuracy of reservation details, payments, and guest information.
• Communicate effectively with guests and property owners regarding bookings, issues, and special requests.
• Assist with property listings and promotional activities.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing prompt and professional service.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and property owners to ensure properties are ready for guests.
• Process payments, cancellations, and refunds according to company policy.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
• Proficiency in property management software and online booking platforms - we will train you!
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Weekend Work is Required June-August.
