Doesn't a gathering to sample soups from local cooks sound like a great way to spend a coastal winter evening? We think so, and that’s why the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation will host its Third Annual SOUPer Saturday on Feb. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Museum of Coastal Carolina.
Held after regular Museum hours, this event will feature locally sourced soup samples from multiple home cooks and opportunities to vote for favorite custom culinary creations. The winning cook will be declared “Potager Extraordinaire”, enjoying bragging rights and receiving a $100 gift certificate to a local restaurant.
