Ocean Springs Vacation Short term vacation rental cottage. Liliiflora Cottage is a privately owned modern “dogtrot” style vacation home.

The name Liliiflora comes from the Latin name for the Japanese Magnolia tree, which was a favorite of my mothers and is a symbol of my wife and daughters combined Japanese and Mississippi heritage. The home is newly constructed (2015) and is provisioned with all of the necessities and conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay. The “Dog Trot” design allows each of the two bedrooms to open onto a la

rge screened breezeway, which is great for sleeping with the doors and windows open on cool nights. The porch is a great place to relax in one of the hanging hammock chairs and read a good book. The main house has vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, half bath, laundry and a living area with flat screen TV and wireless internet. Two "Beach Cruiser" bikes are also available for guest to use.

Love these old trees.

Just as the name implies, this trek is filled with centuries-old oaks. The best part is that it's just over 1/2-mile long and relatively flat, making it perfect for all ages.

The National Park Service has tentatively set the re-opening date for Ship Island to June 5th. Ship Island Excursions continues to follow the guidance of the federal and state government and has implemented enhanced measures to keep the health and safety of our passengers and crew priority. Our ships will be running at a reduced to capacity to allow for social distancing, purchasing tickets in advance is best.
