🌊🎅 Today was a fantastic day for Oceanside Adventures with our Santa Boat Rides! We’re thrilled to share that we had over 500 people join us for this festive event. A big thank you to everyone who participated! All proceeds from the rides will go to support Oceanside Rotary they bring all the volunteers and even have a deal with Santa , thank you to our Captain Shane and his crew for helping us continue this annual tradition and our mission of service and community support. We appreciate the partnership and look forward to more events like this in the future! 🎄🚤

This is pretty cool Wyland

HARLOW, a massive loggerhead sea turtle was rescued by a fisherman in the Florida Keys and brought to The Turtle Hospital by their ambulance literally dead on arrival. Due to the amazing work of their staff they resuscitated Harlow and removed all the barnacles and other issues and now she has fully recovered, and after she gains a few more pounds will be released back into the wild ocean. I painted a larger than life portrait of Harlow on the Turtle Hospital facility yesterday that will greet all the guests that visit the rescue turtles. 🫶🏼🐢🎨🌎

Update from our trips : yesterday (Saturday 10/5 9am )
We headed out of the Oceanside Harbor in the fog to first find a small pod of Long-beaked Common Dolphin. They were relaxed and came right over swimming alongside the Nala with others bow-riding and surfing our wake. We could see their beautiful coloration through the clear glassy water as some rolled over swimming on their backs others turned on their sides possibly to look up at us. A short distance ahead of us was a much larger pod of several hundred dolphin feeding with sea birds, mostly Black-vented Shearwaters! Small groups of dolphin were now in pursuit of the plentiful anchovies and chased them completely up and out of the water while they captured several at a time grasping them in their beak using their teeth! It was as if we had our own personal experience with no other boats and the area near us was clear of low lying fog. A magical time spent with beautiful animals! Report and pics by Laura Lopez
