Unfortunate. Luckily none of my clients are currently impacted. Seems they largely cancelled exotics. Ugh....

The voyages had been scheduled between November 2025 and April 2026 on the Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Star.

Sorry folks but stop flailing the cruise industry for doing their JOB. This is not a 40-ft pleasure craft in a transient slip. If they waited , how long is long enough? They would be reimbursing everyone else when they were late, or missed the next port and / or charging everyone else the penalty for failing to leave the dock at the proscribed time - this is contractual. They cannnot just order (and absorb) the cost of OT for the port crews and the Pilot boats, and i doubt this couple would shoulder that cost - insurance won't cover either, and for good reason.

Great that some editors who couldn't float a plastic tug in a bathtub want to sensationalize this, but read your cruise contracts because this is striclty on the couple who got left behind. How many similar stories this year are from crcruiline-sponsored tours? NONE.

ONLY book ship's tours or reputable private tours and plan to be on board 1.5 hrs MINIMUM before all aboard, or risk being left behind.
