Few times of year feel as nostalgic and magical, and in Europe, Christmas markets take this enchantment to another level. These vibrant marketplaces showcase the very best of the season, with twinkling lights, charming stalls of handcrafted treasures, and a mouthwatering array of festive foods.🥐
If visiting a Christmas market is on your bucket list, chances are you’ve imagined their cozy, snow-dusted scenes and dazzling holiday spirit. But beyond the sights, the culinary delights steal the show. Here’s a look at nine iconic Christmas market treats you won’t want to miss:
RACLETTE
This Swiss cheese dish is as indulgent as it is aromatic. Melted and served over potatoes, pickled onions, and gherkins, Raclette's rich flavors are unforgettable, even if its pungent smell might precede it.
