Imagine it: You’re ready to experience the Serengeti during the Great Migration, but then… you find out permits, lodging, and flights are fully booked! 😩 Tanzania’s top spots, like Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, can book up months (even a year) in advance, especially during peak times.

1️⃣ Plan Enough Time: Allocate at least 7–10 days to truly enjoy a Tanzanian safari, allowing for travel between locations and unhurried game drives.

2️⃣ Focus on Quality Over Quantity: Choose a few key parks or reserves instead of trying to visit all of them. For example, combining the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire or Lake Manyara offers a rich, varied experience.

🎄 The holidays are here, and I’m feeling all the festive vibes! ✨ Between the twinkling lights, cozy gatherings, and endless holiday tunes, it’s my favorite time of year. But let’s be real, not every holiday memory is picture-perfect… some are downright hilarious! 😂

One year, I tried to make my famous holiday cookies, but in a “brilliant” moment, I swapped butter for margarine (because I ran out). BIG mistake. My cookies turned out more like holiday hockey pucks! 🏒 Needless to say, I’m banned from taking shortcuts in the kitchen now.

On a brighter note, one of my favorite traditions is snuggling up with a mug of real hot cocoa (the kind made with melted chocolate and a splash of cream!) and watching those classic holiday movies. 🫖🍫
