One week from today Doug and I will be waking up right here. That's right, a different resort in the Cancun hotel zone. This is a brand new all-inclusive property. It's pricing really well, but before I send you there I'm going to check it out for myself. Because that's how we roll here at -we never never recommend anywhere we haven't tried first.

Our N**i history tour today is one of the most emotional experiences I have had. Courtroom 600 moved me to tears, and the attached museum would have taken days to fully appreciate. Then to the Rally grounds, which we were delighted to learn is now a place where families gather to teach their kids to ride bikes etc. Families of all colors I’d like to add 😁. We saw Hitler’s copy of the Colosseum. Finished with yet another meal at the Bratz Haus.
Headed home tomorrow at 5 am. This has been a fantastic itinerary and group.

Did a slow stroll around our hotel after breakfast. Ended up with a great view of Castle Hill. Found the weirdest fountain ever. Enjoyed terrific cheeseburgers with truffle fries and a classic Coke. Now off to the N**i history tour including Courtroom 600 (watch the movie Judgement at Nuremberg with Spencer Tracy). Rally grounds etc also. Depressing but valuable lessons to learn here.

Every time I return to Nuremberg I find something else to ❤️. Today it was the Castle. And the gingerbread. We had dinner at our usual place, same waitress that we had December 2022.
Life is good and my group is AMAZING.

Bamberg was everything you expect it to be and more.
We have LOVED this cruise. In fact two couples loved it so much they didn’t leave the ship today when the rest of our group checked into our lovely hotel in Nuremberg. They opted for another week onboard the incredible Avalon View and will continue down the Danube all the way to Budapest.
