Wasn’t a bad morning of fishing but surely wasn’t a great morning. had some really nice crappies and threw back plenty of smalls. They were happy to have plenty for a couple fish tacos. Kyler wanted to do a guided fishing trip as part of his birthday present this year he was even nice enough to bring his dad Aaron. Crappies did pretty good to start the morning off got enough for a fish fry or two then went after toothy critters and bass. Great day on the water chasing some huge crappies!
These two hit the 14” mark and the one went over almost touching 15” The fall bite is on and only going to get better so don’t miss out on your opportunity to catch some of these crappies. The fall bite is starting to turn on and the fish are getting aggressive! Took an hour this morning to get our 50 bluegills and handful crappies then went and played with the bass for a little and managed a couple in the 4-5lb range. Big Boji Bluegills with Big Boji Bass. Logan got his personal best smallmouth and Jake got his personal best largemouth bass. Fun filled morning of top water bass followed up by some bluegill jigging. Can’t think of a better way to spend a vacation in boji. Limits of walleyes with jumbo perch what else could you ask for on a windy day in Iowa. I even snuck a couple in for myself. The Big walleyes are on the chomp was nice to be on a body of water today and not see any other boats biggest today coming in at 25” and a 21”. Boated plenty of eater size walleye all realeased for you to catch.

Colton wanted to get out and catch some walleye today and we made it happen have a good bite pinned down and didn’t take long to get the first fish in the boat and even got to experience a triple while pulling cranks. The Chervany crew wanted to get out and experience the okoboji crappie bite. Crappies were playing little picky to get it but they still showed themselves and got some nice fish to bring home. Bluegills were a nice little added bonus especially when there Boji Jumbos. Did some searching today for crappies trying to find some better quality and we hit it on the head today. Found some really nice crappies today had one make it in the boat over 13” and had the accidental walleye come through and spice up the party coming in at 25”.
