If you missed FEMME! 2024, here’s a sample of a unique FEMME! Experience! A huge FEMME! thanks to all the sheroes, thought-leaders, executives, creators, and entrepreneurs that joined us in San Diego recently, at the FEMME! 2024 Power Confab & Retreat! We celebrated Women’s History Month by recognizing historic icons, while shining a light on today’s changemakers and disruptors – making history on their own terms! We illuminated success secrets by pulling back the curtain to share insights, wisdom and experiences! Finally, we elevated a national, femme community together – lifting each other up by connecting power across race, age, and sector! FEMME! is designed to stimulate the senses, fuel creativity, foster mentoring and empower women! Our FEMME! mix of power networking with a professional and holistic experience – gave participants a dedicated and much needed, “me time” – with purpose and intentionality! A special thanks to our presenting sponsors, AARP and NBCUniversal Telemundo, and to our Diamond Sponsors, Panasonic, Nopalera and Yoga Design Lab. Finally, to our speakers, awardees, performers, partners, production team and vendors – It is through your talent, dedication and passion for FEMME! that we ALL shined bright for two amazing days! Let’s do it again – March 5-6, 2025! #FEMME2024 #femmepower #womensretreat #FEMMEConfab

Here’s our tribute to the three million farmworkers in America that allow us all to have produce on our tables every day! INGEÑUITY last month produced both the Cesar Chavez 25th Anniversary March celebration and the National Farmworker Awareness Week virtual kick-off. Campanas de America from San Antonio, Texas performs De Colores, a song, about the simple things in life that unite us all as one humanity. The song became the unofficial anthem of the United Farm Workers movement in the 1950s and '60s, particularly during César Chávez's leadership. Let us remember that farmworkers are essential workers -- following the crops and servicing the multi-billion-dollar U.S. agricultural industry. We need to be advocates for a better work environment and to reduce occupational risks and exposure. Farmworkers are incredibly resilient. They work hard, celebrate culture and family and strive to make a better life for themselves and their communities. Special thanks to Justice for Migrant Women (Monica Ramirez and team), Cesar E. Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation (Ernest Martinez and Irene Chavez) and Anthony Medrano editor. Si Se Puede!
