If you didn’t already know that Latinos are fundamentally reshaping the future of the U.S. economy – one just had to attend the recently held, L’ATTITUDE in Miami Beach.
As one of the event producers, I had an up close and personal view of the months of planning of content, speakers, panels, reports, and activations, all designed to share one common narrative - Latinos are the fastest-growing contributors to the United States economy aka The New Mainstream Economy!

L’ATTITUDE 2023 is a wrap! Our INGEÑUITY Team had the distinct honor of joining forces with NAHREP and others to produce the four-day event which was held at the Fontainebleu Miami Beach from September 27-30. L’ATTITUDE is the largest business event in the country focused on The New Mainstream Economy and helping enlightened executives and business leaders understand the U.S. Latino cohort that is driving its growth. The economic leadership of U.S. Latinos was evident through the convergence of thousands of attendees from the world of business, media, politics, technology, fashion, entertainment and sports! Congratulations to INGEÑUITY President Sarah Ruiz Chavez for being selected to the Leadership Kansas class of 2021! Today is orientation day of the statewide program designed to enhance and motivate future leaders from various Kansas communities. Each year, 40 individuals are selected across the state of Kansas to the 7-month program designed to build leadership skills and development. The cohort meets experts across Kansas in a vast array of fields and professions, with topics from business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health and development, economics, and government — all of which contribute to the personal and professional development of each class member. Upon program conclusion, members will be better equipped to shoulder important leadership responsibilities in their respective communities and careers. There are more than 1,400 Leadership Kansas alumni in Kansas!

Here’s our tribute to the three million farmworkers in America that allow us all to have produce on our tables every day! INGEÑUITY last month produced both the Cesar Chavez 25th Anniversary March celebration and the National Farmworker Awareness Week virtual kick-off. Campanas de America from San Antonio, Texas performs De Colores, a song, about the simple things in life that unite us all as one humanity. The song became the unofficial anthem of the United Farm Workers movement in the 1950s and '60s, particularly during César Chávez's leadership. Let us remember that farmworkers are essential workers -- following the crops and servicing the multi-billion-dollar U.S. agricultural industry. We need to be advocates for a better work environment and to reduce occupational risks and exposure. Farmworkers are incredibly resilient. They work hard, celebrate culture and family and strive to make a better life for themselves and their communities. Special thanks to Justice for Migrant Women (Monica Ramirez and team), Cesar E.
