Great Lakes Fishing Charters Hi, my name is Andy Bartlett. I am a US Coast Guard Licensed Charter Captain. I have spent my life on or near the water, around boats and fishing.

I love the water and I love fishing. I enjoy sharing the water and fishing with others so running a Charter business is a natural thing for me to do. Whether you are a parent or Grandparent with kids, 2 parents with kids, single or together with other people, fishing is a fun and interesting thing to do and the Great Lakes are a great place to do it. I specialize in having a fun, interactive day w

ith people from all walks and ways of life. Depending on the time of year I do trips on Lake Ontario for Trout and Salmon, Lake Erie for Walleye, The Finger Lakes and The Upper and Lower Niagara River. I like taking people out on the water who have never been fishing before as much as I like fishing Tournaments with passionate anglers. I like answering questions about fishing and I like listening to the life stories of people who come on the boats. So, reach out and let me help you to have a great day on the water.

I would like to wish all customers and friends a special day of thanks today.As usual for this time of year we’re focused Musky trolling. Tomorrow will be our 1st Lower Niagara drifting and bar jigging exploratory.After Labor Day trips are limited to weekends and school vacations. Happy Holidays!

Unfortunately it turns out that the root cause of the loss of power issue requiring Emily III to be towed in from offshore appears be a significant engine failure. I apologize to those customers whose trips were cancelled. While it’s true we have another boat, that vessel is completely configured for walleye trips at present and she is set up without downriggers or any of the salmon tackle or gear. For better or worse the fact is that especially for Western Lake Ontario, the quality part of salmon season has definitely come and gone. Emily III will be back in Operation at the end of April next spring. As usual the outboard boat will be our cold weather vessel until then.

We were offshore filleting fish when a violent fast moving storm spilled over the lake today. Never underestimate the power of a storm at sea. Got in safely after some darn good fishing!
