Hawaii....

Here is what you need to know if you are looking to plan travel to Hawaii for the remainder of the year and beyond:

The West Maui area was hit with the fires impacting the popular resort spots of Napili, Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina.
At this time, non-essential travel to West Maui is strongly discouraged through October 17th.
The Governor of Hawaii has however emphasized the importance of travel for the recovery of Hawaii and has stated the rest of the state and other parts of Maui are safe, open, and welcoming travelers.
