We are looking to add several fulltime positions to our Distribution Center Team. We are currently filling positions in our Freezer and Fulfillment areas.

Fulfillment - responsible for packing product/dry ice into coolers, labeling and quality checking orders, using scanner to ensure product goes to correct packer. Pays $16.00 hr.

Freezer - responsible for using a scanner to pull product and send to the correct line, organize and stock product and move to conveyor. Working in 0 degree environment. Pays $18.00 hr.

*Cuts meat into steaks, chops and other
products either by hand or by machine
to obtain given weight, yield or
prescribed specifications.
•Visually inspects fabricated cuts of meat
for overall quality. Prepares the meat for
cutting by trimming excess fat and trim,
and determines the best way to cut the
meat into steaks.
•Weighs steaks and records the total
number of steaks cut, the number of
target steaks cut, and the number of
oddball steaks cut on a ticket that is
attached to the trays of meat.
•Performs various clean up duties such as
cleaning scales, maintaining knives, and
moving pans of meat to various stations.
Performs a variety of miscellaneous
activities such as repacking of products,
carrying pans of product and other
duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Straight knife experience required.
•Must be able to read, write, and perform
basic mathematical calculations.
•Must be able to use knives, sharpening
equipment, scales, and other cutting
tools as necessary.

Days and Hours:
•Full-time Days. Work 40 hours per week.
•Schedules start at 6:00am and end at
2:30pm. Hours are based on business
needs.

This is a full-time, Second Shift position.
Monday through Thursday. 12PM-9PM, Friday 12pm - 6PM and every other Saturday 12PM-4PM

• The job is a mechanical position with
preferable motion control and
troubleshooting experience (the
electrical
aspect of the job). Equipment set up,
equipment performance, trouble
shooting, repairs, preventative
maintenance. Building maintenance and
repair are also part of the job. Our
customer is the production crew. We
keep them in business with minimal
downtime and respond to their needs.

• We foster a team environment, utilize
mechanical/electrical strengths and at
times help at other facilities. We value

Essential job duties include:

• Performs regular maintenance functions,
sets up machines and prepares
machined/equipment for operation.
• Verifies equipment is functioning
properly and completes required work
orders.
• Responds to maintenance calls/requests
in a timely manner with minimal
supervision.
• Dismantles equipment/machines and
makes proper repair.
• Verifies corrections before task or job is
complete.
• Responds with personnel via two-way
radio.
• Inspects boilers/engine room equipment
for proper operation. Notifies supervisor
or makes corrections to equipment.
• Informs supervisor of parts needed to
repair machines and equipment
accounts for all parts on work orders or
PMs.
• Initiates keeping all Omaha Steaks work
areas neat and clean including all
engine, boiler, and shop areas.
• Meets expectations for attendance and
punctuality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read, write and perform basic
mathematical calculations.
• 2 years training in Mechanical
Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge and skill in basic HVAC,
plumbing and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of OHMs and AMP
meter.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and
preventative maintenance methods.
• Ability to identify equipment
malfunctions and safety hazards.
• Knowledge and skill of commercial or
industrial plumbing and electrical
systems, structural heating and A/C and
boiler operations.

11PM to 7:30AM. Hours are based on business needs.

Essential job duties:

•Responsible for accurately receiving all
perishable products from the plants
outside vendors and outside storage.
•Ensures proper count and product specs
and notifies appropriate personnel of
unusual situations.
•Counts and verifies weekly physical
inventory. Monitors IOH report and
rectifies discrepancies with Supervisor.
•Responsible for accurate receiving,
ensuring proper weight and product
specs. Records information on receiving
sheets and delivers to supervisor.
•Transfers product to storage room in a
timely manner.
•Performs other related duties.
•Responsible for accurately rotating stock
and maintaining the integrity of the
product by ensuring it is in the proper
temp environment.
•Helps clean and level pallets for
inventory.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•High school diploma or equivalent is
preferred.
•Forklift experience is required.
•Must be able to read, write, and perform
basic mathematical calculations.
•6 months - Receiving and inventory
experience is desirable.
•Must be able to follow and understand
directions accurately
•Strong attention to detail.

•Arranges steaks, chops, ground beef,
and other products on trays.
•Operates a therma former packaging
machine to package product; performs
all duties associated with boxing
product, labeling and taping finished
boxed product; responsible for accurate
box weights and labels.
•Unwraps, wraps, packs, weights, labels
and scales a variety of misc. gourmet
products.
•Change out dies and other necessary
parts in machine changeovers.
•Visually inspects products to ensure
adherence to specifications.
•Performs a variety of miscellaneous
activities such as repacking of orders,
cleaning work area, supplying boxes and
other necessary packaging supplies to
packaging area, supporting auto-tapers
and auto-labelers and all other duties as
assigned.
•Meets expectations for attendance and
punctuality.

Skills and Abilities:

•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Packaging experience preferred but not
required.
•Must be able to read, write, and perform
basic mathematical calculations.
•Must be able to operate taping machine,
labeler, scale and CRT.
•This job has a floor to elbow height
requirement of 38 ½” or more.
