The farm spring. I have documented the most dry season last 3 years and now the most wet, since having dug out the spring heads. You will notice this is not run off it is coming from the base of the mountain. Out of the rocks. I canβt wait to get the Wall damned for a cistern below.
So I caught this one saw it leave the hive and land on the cedar. My queens are clipped but she had been killed so they must have tried swarming last week in the storms. So a virgin left and one stayed. Now both must mate. ππππ I'm sure there are some handsome drones out there.
My nephew helped me cut the limb with loppers while I caught the limb and shook it over the box. So that's why no video of that part. He is 8 and was shirtless and in shorts. π
As requested here is a video of the ducks. The little squeakers only a day old are darting all over. These are my 51 French blooded Pekins going
to use some for table ducks!! And some for breeders! The little black Mohawks are Silver Apple Yards very nice ducks that forage, herd well with ducks, are in high demand, have flavorful meet and will sit their own eggs! They look like beautiful mallards when grown but the under down and pins are all white so the pluck clean like a pekin. The little dark one is a recessive black. We try to retain this genetic diversity to avoid too much inbreeding. D
