We have a phenomenal group of people that make our business successful. In appreciation of our amazing team, Badger Balancing took-over Green Lake for a fun-filled weekend!

Friday night, we enjoyed Murphy’s on Green where we couldn't help but sing along with the ever-talented Logan Spicer Music . 🎶 After a great evening filled with good food and spirits🍺 , our guests were able to walk to Bayview Motel and Marina for a good night's rest. 💤

Saturday, we sharpened our axe 🪓 throwing skills at Rippin Blades . For the evening, Classic Casino ♠️was ready at the Goose Blind Grill & Bar for Badger Balancing Casino night. All "winnings" 🪙 were used to enter a raffle for gift baskets filled with goodies from local businesses.🎁

It's safe to say, we all had a great time enjoying Green Lake together!

The Position: We’re looking for TAB Technicians. The pay range we’re offering is dependent on experience and references. Candidates must be energetic, honest and motivated individuals who are looking for a career in the HVAC industry.

Requirements:

NEBB certification preferred but not required, we will train promising candidates
Test and balance and/or HVAC experience required
Basic computer skills (emails, PDF, Microsoft Office)
Ability to work independently
Confident working on ladders, lifts, rooftops or in tight spaces during all seasons
Excellent verbal and written skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Understanding and application of basic math and algebra
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license
Some travel may be required as well as periodic night time and weekend work

Responsibilities:

Perform all testing and balancing of HVAC and mechanical process systems.
Project management
Troubleshoot HVAC and building automation control systems using good judgement and experience.
Read building blueprints to determine proper air and water flow balancing requirements.
Use specialized tools such as flow hood, pitot tube, tachometer, voltmeter, amp meter, etc.
Generating TAB Reports
Participate in training as directed in testing procedures and use of equipment, controls, and HVAC systems.

Understanding of commercial HVAC systems, systems controls, mechanical and electrical engineering principles, energy savings calculations are preferred. Minimum requirements for applicant must possess a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a PE stamp to apply. Annual salary will depend on experience in the field of mechanical engineering and field studies.

Energy Audits and Retro Commissioning Projects will require frequent travel to project jobsites. All travel and lodging expenses are covered by Badger.

It was a great turnout at this years WHEA convention. The VR was a hit and kept the booth busy for most of the show. Maintaining airflow and pressure in the healthcare environment is more important than ever before. Thanks to all of the hospital staff for everything you do every day to keep patients safe and we are so grateful to be a part of it.
