We took a little field trip to the mountains in between Golfo Dulce kayak trips. From m Puerto Jimenez at sea level to Sabalito over 4,000 feet and 10 to 15 delightful degrees cooler! From PJ a 40 min ferry to Golfito. Then a 40 min taxi to Neilly, then a 90 min bus ride up crazy switchbacks. Our friend Javi Cano then took us to La Chelita organic coffee farm and pizza cafe where they brew their own beer and cook with an Ooni oven! Then we stayed in a deluxe yurt at Javi and his wife’s new Ararat Eco Farm. Super views, amenities and breakfast delivered!
