I really don’t know what to say about this trip but if you can you must do it. Incredible wildlife viewing, wonderful lodging and delicious food. And the people are amazing. We’ve loved our guides and trackers. They’ve taken us on some amazing drives.

I am planning a trip to Portugal for a multi-generational family, so looking at pictures from my 2022 trip to Portugal. I am excited for them to visit such a vibrant country.

Things they might do:
~ Lisbon - take a food walking tour

~ Visit Coimbra - JK Rowling was inspired by the Univ. of Coimbra where students wear robes almost exactly as the students did at Hogwarts.

~ Visit Sintra & Cascais. You’ll see some of the beautiful Coast of Portugal.

~ Visit the scenic & beautiful Douro Valley

~ And of course so much more to see & do

We had a great last full day in Rome. Ancient
Rome tour that included seeing the Colosseum.

Last picture is of the Trevi Fountain at 6:30am so we rolled out of bed to see it before the crowds. Still were about 75 or more people there. Even in early May it’s hard to beat the crowds. It’s the travel world we live in these days. We still had a very good time.

Last week I spent my time in Amsterdam at the River Cruise Expo. I attended this in 2022 in Budapest. It’s time we’ll spent to keep up on what’s happening in this part of my travel world.

Here are pictures of the beautiful Amawaterways ship, AmaSerena. This ships sails on the Rhine, Moselle and Dutch and Belgium waterways.

Here are pictures of our trip in no particular order. We’re having a great time on our Regent Seven Seas Cruise of the French Polynesian Islands.

This is the wet season so we’ve had some rain but when you travel at this time of the year you just roll with it.

Nuku Hiva
Bora Bora
Papeete

Sofitel Kia Ora Resort in Mo’orea. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow. Steps to the beach. We were able to find excellent snorkeling right at the resort. They provided snorkel equipment complimentary.

I highly suggest to rent a car. You can do lots of exploring on your own. Only about 37 miles all the way around the island. Take a drive up to Belvedere point to see the overlook of the two bays, Opunohu and Cook.

We had delicious food at our resort but also found some restaurants while we were out, also with good food.

The local French Polynesian people we met were were very nice and friendly to us.

The Beautiful Island of Mo’orea! It really is as beautiful as the pictures show. Scroll through to see them all.

Staying at the Sofitel Kia Ora Beach Resort. They have several ways to accommodate be it Over the Water Bungalows, Ocean front, Ocean View or Garden-view suite. You can’t go wrong at this beautiful and peaceful resort.
