New interpretive signage Le Vieux Village de Poste des Opelousas in Opelousas will help enhance visitor experiences at the historic attraction. The signs include QR codes which link mobile phone users to more information about the village and digital photos. The new digital tool also allows users to read about Le Vieux Village in French. The signs were made possible with a Certified Local Government matching grant in the amount of $9300 administered through the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation via the National Park Service.
