Book direct with an owner who has a rental business license and offers the same service your get booking via a service like Airbnb and VRBO. We offer secure booking via Lodgix (tm) damage insurance $55, trip insurance and moderate prices with credit card processing via Stripe or personal payments. You can find our properties on VRBO and Airbnb but the price is higher since they charge for their finder service.

Please very slow drip your faucet over night until it warms above 30 degrees.

Pets must be brought inside or take them to the local shelter.

People must be inside or checkin to a shelter if homeless.

Cover outdoor plants with sheets and secure with duct tape.

Wrap exposed pipes. Use old blankets or towels if you don’t have the insulated outdoor faucet covers.

Finally check with your HVAC service provider and take precautions with your heat pump.

Never leave fireplaces unattended over night.

Be cautious of older space heaters or any gas powered heaters and fireplaces. Gas can cause greater challenges than the cold temperatures present.

You have time to think through all of this early today.

The Gulf Coast has higher property valuations in every category. That’s good but also higher priced properties can take longer to sell. There are exceptions always. The Days on market have returned to pre 2022 levels. It’s typical to see 180s on market. There are ways to sell your home faster. Importantly, The valuations along the Gulf Coast remain very strong!

The way to avoid longer days on market is to value and price your home or property to sell. This means appraisals and valuations based on comps and square footage including amenities plus all bonus the property offers. Obtain an independent appraisal from a licensed appraiser. A strong comparison to recently sold properties (the competition) is vital to selling quicker.
