Everybody say a prayer for Cedar Key. This is my hometown after 20+ years in the islands. It's one of Florida's oldest towns, and it's extremely vulnerable to tidal surges. Where this picture was taken is my old little grey house, and by tomorrow it's most likely going to be under 8 feet of water. I rebuilt the place in '19 after Hermine but this one is gonna be bad. It is a fantastic small town, and original old florida town( one of Jimmy Buffet's favorite restaurants is here) that is going to have a hard time coming back from this one. Any of you that have ever gotten a call from me know this is basically my hometown. Keep them in your prayers. They're gonna need em.

SOUTHERN BELLE IS BACK!!! After two months of being grounded, WE'RE BACK!
Captain Kim will be coming on board as our new Captain, some of you may remember her from the first season. We can only take 6 passengers at this time.

If you want to go offshore!!

We are now taking reservations on Islander, captained by none other than Elizabeth Boggs! On the 4-hour trolling trips we will target Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, little tunny, blue runners, lady fish, blue fish and jack crevalle. These trips are great for all ages and are typically action packed. Most days we see dolphins and other sea life. We also have the option on our trolling trips to stay in the back bay where it is calm, and there are many species of fish to troll for. We love kids, and we make sure to give them the best experience possible.

So, we did a thing tonight. A Birthday dinner party sunset trip. The Beach Moms asked if it was something we could do, and it was something we'd already been kicking around.
So, we did it. Started them with salads, bread, and some sesame seared locally caught tuna courtesy of It Don’t Matta Sportfishing , then twice baked seafood potatoes and some awesome ribeyes. Of course, the birthday girl got a cake! This is something we will be offering this summer, it's kind of an extended sunset trip. Let us, or The Beach Moms know if you'd like to go!
