Bridges and Roadways Update - OPEN

The Foley Beach Express Bridge is passable. The Alabama East Point Bridge is passable, however it still has significant ice patches. Areas of Perdido Beach Blvd, especially in front of Turquoise Place have large ice patches that are unavoidable. Drive slow, use extreme caution and plan for longer trips.

UPDATE: The Bridge in Gulf Shores on Hwy 59 is closed and will likely be closed for the rest of today and tonight. The Beach Express Bridge in Orange Beach is only open to 4-wheel drive vehicles.

The current temperature in Orange Beach is 18°. The roads are VERY DANGEROUS... If at all possible, everyone should stay off the roads today.

We have a forecast high today of 34°, which means we are likely to stay below freezing most, if not the entire day. The roads will be very icy today...
