Our Story
We found the Alabama Gulf Coast through one of our neighbors in Louisville, Kentucky. They had been vacationing there for years, and based on their recommendation, we booked a week in a small condo near Perdido Key, Florida. We had two small children, and we all had such a great time that we returned two weeks later for another week! It just seemed to make sense to try and buy our own piece of paradise, but it was at the crazy upswing of the housing market and condos were being bought sight unseen(!) after only being on the market for a matter of minutes at CRAZY prices. So, with our hopes dashed, we waited several years and found the perfect condo in Gulf Shores....a foreclosure, no less. We loved and fixed up that unit until our realtor (Lorraine Gatti of the Gatti Team) suggested we take a look at the new Turquoise Place back in 2012. Oh, we definitely knew THOSE buildings. Everyone did. You drove by those gleaming blue towers and you just couldn’t help but wondering what it was like on the inside.
And from the moment we stepped inside, it didn’t disappoint. The lobby looked like it was straight out of a magazine...blue and glass with beautiful white leather sofas. A huge bouquet of fresh flowers greeted us and then the view took you straight out to one of the pools. Just stunning! We couldn’t wait to see an actual unit. Long story short, as one of the first to buy in the building, we feel we chose the PERFECT location in the building....right smack in the center of the building on the 12th floor! Our balcony is private. You’re not looking at your neighbor or
another building...just the shimmering emerald green Gulf waters. Sunsets are spectacular and the colors change nightly. You’ll be taking several pictures! And just having your very own hot tub to take it all in and gas grill of your own is just the icing on the cake.
There are a lot of condos you can rent in Turquoise Place. So, why rent from us? Because that’s just it - YOU’RE RENTING FROM US. Check out our reviews.
