‼️‼️Before you know it, the REAL ID Act will go into effect. Beginning May 7, 2025, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States. ✈

🌟What is a REAL ID?
REAL ID-compliant cards will have one of the below markings on the upper top portion of the card. If the card does not have one of these markings, it is not REAL ID compliant and will not be accepted as proof of identity to board commercial aircraft.

Please note: At this time, the cruise lines will not require its guests to have a REAL ID, however, anyone flying at any point during their travels will need it.

✨Disney Cruise Line: More About Pirate Night✨

🏴‍☠️Dust off those Halloween costumes or go on an Amazon shopping spree! Break out that thick jet black eyeliner! You will regret not joining in on the fun!

🎉It's my favorite night onboard a Disney Cruise and almost all sailings will have a Pirate Night (except for Alaskan & Northern European sailings).

🏴‍☠️What to wear on pirate night!🏴‍☠️

Whatever you like! You can dress up like a swashbuckling pirate, don a pair of Mickey pirate ears, wear a themed shirt, or just show up in your normal attire to enjoy the show! Adults are just as into dressing up as their children are. The ship's cast members dress up, too!

🏴‍☠️What happens on pirate night?🏴‍☠️

⚓️ Pirate music plays throughout the ship beginning first thing in the morning.
⚓️ Pirate themed backdrops appear in the atrium prior to dinner to show off your gear.
⚓️Your stateroom attendant will leave each passenger a pirate bandana in your stateroom before Pirate Night begins.
⚓️ Pirate themed dinner with staff dressed in their pirate attire as well as a pirate menu! (3-Night cruises do not have a separate pirate menu but includes everything else, and some 4-night cruises over a holiday also may not have a themed pirate dinner so they can do a holiday themed dinner, but will still have a costume themed night and the pirate party deck shows!)
⚓️Check your daily navigator app to find where the character meet and greets are for Pirate Night. Dressed in their pirate best, many characters will be available for pictures before the party even starts! You can expect to meet Pirate Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Captain Hook, Captain Jack Sparrow and more!
⚓️ A Deck shows that are pirate themed that include some special characters (Captain Jack Sparrow!, fireworks off the starboard side of the ship, and a dance party even the youngest mateys will want to stay up for!

-It can vary from cruise to cruise, but here is the typical schedule:
⚫️ 3-Night Cruise: Night 2
⚫️ 4-Night Cruise: Night 3
⚫️ 5-Night Cruise: Night 2

✨Disney Wish: Cinderella✨

🛳️On the Disney Wish, The Grand Hall is the enchanted gateway to everything that awaits Guests onboard.

🪄At the base of the grand staircase will stand the personification of wish fulfillment herself: Cinderella, along with her horrid step-family’s wicked cat, Lucifer.

😼And bless his little furry heart, Lucifer is perched near the base of the statue just waiting to get his mean little paws on Gus Gus and Jaq who are hiding under Cinderella's dress! 🐭🐁

📸This makes for a perfect photo spot!

💖This is also where the nightly Kiss Goodnight and final WISHing Ever After Final Farewell character gathering is held!

✨Disney Wish: The Keg & Compass✨

Keg & Compass is the Disney Wish’s signature pub, and it draws inspiration from a Norwegian sailor’s map room in the 1800’s. If you’re looking for a place to watch live sports, news, and major broadcast events, this is the place you’ll want to visit!

Sample adventurous spirits and dine on pub fare ($$ these are not included in your cruise fare!) at this Old World pub that celebrates the romance and escapades of life on the high seas.

🌟The map on the ceiling features many Disney characters and set pieces near their real-world geographical locations.
🌟The map also features important Disney and Disney Cruise Line locations, such as the cities that call Disney theme parks home, Burbank, Port Canaveral, and Celebration.
🌟A wooden compass displays the coordinates of the Meyer Werft shipyard where the Disney Wish was built, while a wooden plank has the location of Port Canaveral.
🌟There is a wooden plaque that reads “You are not the first to pass this way, nor shall you be the last.” This quote is of course from the lift hill scene of EPCOT’s Maelstrom attraction which was located in the Norway Pavilion. There is also a Maelstrom Stout on the menu.
🌟Characters including Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wall-E, Eve, Jimmy Cricket, and Mufasa are hiding in constellations in the ceiling of the venue.

✨Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream✨

It's located on the main pool deck and the line is❗️long ❗️ but it goes super fast! Soft serve is included in your cruise fare on the Disney Cruise Line and you can ask for it in a cone or cup! There is soft serve non-stop from 10:45am to 6:00pm.

The cruise director announced that my sailing alone went through 300 gallons of ice cream! 🤪 (I totally contributed to that!)

🍦Flavors change each day! Vanilla and chocolate and vanilla/chocolate swirl are a constant every day. Other flavors alternate - mango, banana, blueberry, strawberry.

🌟They'll have soft serve at lunch on their private islands, too! (you serve yourself on the islands!) I might have seen a person or two filling up their Stanley cups, grabbing a spoon, and taking it back to their beach chairs! 😂

Again, get yourself an amazing Travel Agent (me! 🙋🏻‍♀️) and you can also learn about the Mickey ice cream bar magic on the Disney Cruise Line! And it's not advertised! 😘

✨A Final Farewell✨

On the final night of every Disney Cruise, there's a final farewell gathering. Each ship has their own name, but on the Disney Wish it's called ✨WISHing Ever After: A Final Farewell✨ where the Grand Hall glittered, sparkled, and filled with magic.

A violinist played "When You Wish Upon A Star" and other beautiful Disney tunes and then it happened....

Captains Mickey & Minnie and many of the Princess & Princesses and other characters come out for meet & greets - and even giving autographs! A child's ✨Wish✨ come true!

Tip - Get there early and line up to meet your favorite character! Captains Mickey and Minnie will be front and center at the stage!

✨Disney Cruise Line Rotational Dining✨

Rotational dining is the Disney Cruise Line way of making sure that all Guests get to enjoy each of the themed dining venues while on board. Each evening, you dine with the same waiting team as you rotate to one of three main restaurants on the ship and experience a mixture of mouth-watering menus.

Each ship features different themes. The Disney Wish featured 1923, Marvel, & Arendelle. 🌟I posted menus, too! 🌟

You won't know your rotation order until you board the ship - then it'll show up on the trusty Disney Cruise Line Navigator App! Hint: a great travel agent (me!🙋🏻‍♀️) can put in a request for a certain order! (never guaranteed, but there's a great chance!)
