Starting January 8, 2025, all travelers to the UK must complete an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)—think of it as a quick, electronic visa.

Key Details:
🔗 Official Site: Apply for an ETA here (avoid third-party sites that charge extra!): https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta.
💷 Cost: £10 GBP ($12 USD).
⏳ Validity: 2 years or until the attached passport expires.
📋 Pro Tip: Travelers must apply before boarding flights, though approval isn't strictly required pre-flight—airlines may enforce this, so better safe than sorry.

A Friday (and our last day) in Spain....

✨Sevilla > Madrid > Toledo > Madrid✨

💃We ended the night with a traditional Flamenco show & tapas.💃

This was a perfect ending to our time in Spain! Our group of 22 included travel agents, an ✨amazing & and super fun✨ Business Development Manager, and the ✨amazing & adorable ✨ Groups Operations Manager. We've met hotel partners, tour vendors, laughed, learned, and experienced Spain in all its glory -and we can pass everything we know on to our clients as we plans their 💙Dream Vacations!💙

This trip could not have been any more amazing - from the city lights to the small town feel of Seville to the incredible views of Toledo to the wine & tapas....I can't wait to book ✈️your✈️ Dream Vacation to Spain!

A Thursday in Spain....

✨An hour and 45 minute journey from Sevilla brought us to the historic old town of Córdoba.✨

Córdoba's ⛪️historic old town is a World Heritage site, full of little streets to be explored, courtyards full of flowers, trees full of oranges, inviting squares and lively taverns where you can enjoy a good flamenco performance or try the local cuisine. Just out of Córdoba you'll find the world's largest 🫒 olive plantations - and you'll find Córdoba-made olive oil and many shops as you wander the city center.

🇪🇸After leaving Córdoba, we went to the picturesque Plaza de España which often pictured on postcards, is popular as a film set location, flamenco dancers, open air festivals and concerts in the summer, and row boat canal rides during warmer months. The ✨illumination✨ of the arches and bridges, reflected in the canals was beautiful! Spend at least 30 minutes walking the semicircle and enjoy the beautiful and detailed tiled ceramics of Spain's provinces!

🎄We ended the evening with a walk through the Sevilla Christmas lights before 🍽️ 🍷dinner at El Rinconcillo - an unassuming three storied 17th-century restaurant with tapas & traditional Spanish mains, plus an extensive wine list.

🍷Again - I'm sampling Sangria and tapas for YOU! 😘

Let's talk Breakfast in Spain!

By now we know that Churros & Chocolate are a very loved staple for breakfast in Spain, but there are other delicious traditional breakfast foods, too!

🍅Pan con Tomate🍅
Pan con tomate translates into bread with tomato. It is a typical Spanish breakfast dish. Hearty bread is toasted (traditionally stale bread may have been used) and then it is topped with grated tomato. The bread may be rubbed with a garlic clove for extra flavor and the grated tomato is seasoned with some salt and olive oil. The bread is then topped with the tomato and drizzled with a bit more olive oil.

🥔🥚Tortilla de Patatas🥔🥚
It's also called a Spanish omelette or Spanish tortilla and is a traditional dish from Spain. It is celebrated as one of the most popular dishes of the Spanish cuisine.It is an omelette made with eggs and potatoes, usually including onion. It is often served at room temperature as a tapa.

A Wednesday in Spain....

✨While most of Spain doesn't come to life until 10:00am, we were off to the Madrid Estación de Atocha to catch an early morning high speed train going south to Sevilla where we arrived nearly three hours later!✨

Madrid 🇪🇸 is a sprawling modern capital with plenty of history and stunning architecture - but Sevilla...wow! Sevilla (Seville) has even more history and incredible character, it's walkable, and has beautiful, whimsical cobblestone streets lined with stunning architecture and orange trees. 🍊

We went on a walking tour, visited several of our preferred hotels, enjoyed sangria and tapas on rooftops, toured the UNESCO ⛪️ Catedral de Sevilla (the World's Largest Gothic Cathedral the tomb of Christopher Columbus is located ) and explored the UNESCO Royal Alcázar of Seville 👑 (the oldest royal palace in use in Europe).

We finished out the day by walking along the bustling Avenida de la Constitución that is lined with 🎄Christmas lights, we roamed the squares and side roads gazing at the Christmas lights and beautifully illuminated buildings, then had tapas for dinner on an orange tree lined street with a gorgeous view of the cathedral. ❤️

It was a beautiful day immersed in the Spanish Andalusian culture in picturesque surroundings! 😍
