If you are looking for a way to support our neighbors here in Oregon is one to consider. Copied from someones post:

I have worked on the Operations Team for the Oregon Area Food Pantry for 15+ years. In the past year, our monthly numbers have increased from 585 people in Sept 2023 to 1018 people in July 2024. Just in July, we had 38 new people coming to the food pantry for help. This huge, unexpected increase stresses our budget and supplies. Are you able to help? Our greatest needs can be found on our website ([Food Donations | Oregon Area Food Pantry](https://oregonareafoodpantry.com/food-donations)), as well as an Amazon wishlist, our paypal donation link and our address if you wish to make monetary donations.

We have drop-off bins for donations at the front door of the food pantry (107 N Alpine Pkwy) or HMC. Hy-Vee has donation bags that you can purchase. You can also drop off donations during our distribution hours: Tuesdays 9-11am; 2nd and last Thursday of each month 4-6pm; and any Saturday morning from 10-11am. Thank you for partnering with our community food pantry!!
