Plaid Pixie will be in Murray, UT at Utah Hot Air Balloon Palooza this week. Look for us in the air starting tomorrow thorough Sunday!! If you see us don’t forget to 👋 and say hello.

There’s still time to volunteer if you’re interested in helping with these giant beauties and getting a hands on experience with hot air balloons. Or you can just come see us and we’ll put you to work too. 😜

We’ll see everyone in just a couple of weeks at the Venal Dinah “Soar” Days!!
They’re still looking for more volunteers to help at the event so it’s not to late to sign up to get up close to the balloons.

Introducing Plaid Pixie, flown by pilot Shelena Shamo! She is flying in from Orem, UT and will be sponsored by The Great Reno Balloon Race during the 43rd Anniversary! 🎈

Shelena's love of balloons began as a child at the U.S. National Championships in her hometown. Years later, volunteering at a rally reignited her passion, leading her and her husband to travel the country as crew members. After her first flight in 2017, she quickly became a pilot and now flies often, sharing the joy of ballooning with volunteers.

We want to congratulate two of our crew members Kason and Shaylee in their new journey together. They have been a joy to get to know and a ray of sunlight to all those that were blessed to know them.
