I’m gonna say it. I like this Value Resort more than some Moderate and Deluxe Resorts!
Art of Animation feels so Disney, and the colors are what do it for me, I think! It is so bright and happy, and all the Disney Mania music just takes me back! The larger than life characters are so fun for the kids…and me, who are we kidding? And the option to have a suite with 3 beds and 2 bathrooms, is one of the best values on Disney property! We’ve split the cost with another family and it was so great to save money and have all the space! The pools are themed like Little Mermaid, Cars, and Finding Nemo and pool days at the resort are almost as important as park days to me. I love playing and relaxing with my kids between exciting park days! Landscape of Flavors is the food court at this resort and they have a great variety to choose from all day, plus Disney has the best bacon! I don’t know what it is, but breakfast at Disney World is one of my all time favorite meals! The shop here is really big and they offer Art of Animation exclusive merchandise that is so colorful and cute! I think more times than not, I would choose this resort to stay at with my family, and if you’ve stayed there too, leave a comment below about what you loved about it!

Sometimes you try something new and it becomes a favorite over a classic! And sometimes the classic trumps all! The number question I get from my clients and followers is, “Where are your favorite places to eat?” Well, here is my current list of favorites within each park (and resorts)! And know this, that I am a little bit obsessed with Disney food, the eating of it, and taking pictures of it, the atmospheres of all of the dining experiences, all of it. And I’ve eaten my fair share over the years! And if you’re wondering if you can trust my opinion, here is my foodie type: I like what I like, I’m an adventurous eater, I LOVE fruits and veggies, and I’m particular with meat. Here ya go!

Did you know that secret menu items exist all over Walt Disney World? This is the pao de queijo with chimichurri cream cheese from Jungle Cruise Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom, and it just might be my favorite secret menu item to date! I will order it again and again and when I bring my kiddos, we’ll be ordering TWO, please! 🤤

Today I’m posting for those of you who book your own vacations and aren’t sure about using a travel planner, like myself. Here are a few of the things I’ve heard, but I want to assure you that this could be a WIN x WIN situation!

•”I’m used to booking my own trips.”
If you enjoy booking yourself, come to me with your set plans, and let me just click the buttons! I can be as hands-on or hands-off with the planning portion as you like.

•”I’ve been going to Disney my whole life. Why would I pay someone to book it for me?”
You won’t! I don’t charge a dime to book your vacations, for real!

•”I don’t want to bother Alysse when I’m capable of doing it myself.”
Booking your vacation is not a bother at all! I get a commission from the destinations I book (that’s how I get paid) so it’s actually REALLY helpful when you DO reach out!

•”I’m not booking Disney, so Alysse can’t help me.”
I book more than just Disney Vacations! Yes, I book a lot of Disney Cruises, Disneyland, and Walt Disney World trips, but I can also book your trips to Hawaii, All-Inclusives in Mexico and the Caribbean, Universal Studios, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Vegas, Sandals, and the list goes on!

•”We have Disney passes, so I don’t need Alysse to book for me.”
Even if you have passes, I can still book your hotel arrangements.

•”I don’t trust that a travel planner will get it right.”

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is a relaxing getaway, away from the parks, but on the ocean if you’re looking for a beach vacation.
