Brooklyn Girl Fishing Charterboat "Brooklyn Girl" Orient Point, NY The "Brooklyn Girl" is an all new 2019 custom built 50’ fast twin Cummins turbo diesel fishing vessel.

We are USCG inspected and licensed to carry up to 35 passengers. Our experienced and curteous crew is pleased to handle both small and large groups for fishing, as well as any type of party, scenic tour, or corporate outing.

Thank you all so much for the support all these years. 2024 was a very good season but one where not much came easy. Time for some rest. We’ll be all polished up and ready to go come April.

Thank you to all who sailed with us or just followed along here. Can’t wait to see you all on a nice spring day!

Huge thank you to Barbara for putting up with me being on the water so much, and putting all the trips together. You have the hardest job of all. Couldn’t do it without you ❤️. So looking forward to spending a lot of time together the next few months!

Also a huge thank you to the hardest working crew a guy could have. My teammates and brothers Capt. Marco, Chris, & Jake. No guys I’d rather be out there with.

What a great way to finish up a very good but hard knock kind of fall season….

Saturday’s 15 angler charter for the BGFC enjoyed drop & stick toggin! The gang put over 100 keepers on the deck to 8+ pounds along with around 50 jumbo Sea Bass to 5 pounds. A bonus 16-17 pound Codfish rounded out the catch that included many 5-7 pound Blackfish.

Jordan had 7 beauties and the pool Tog. Mr. Lee landed 15+ beauties to 6.5 pounds. Pete had a bunch of Sea Bass, a big Codfish, and 5 nice blackfish to 7 pounds. John B had 7 keeper blackfish to 7 pounds. Daniel & Walter had 10-12 keeper Blackfish each to 6+ pounds. Everyone had a bunch of Sea Bass.

Great Day!

Sunday’s 22 angler Split Charter/Open Boat enjoyed another drop & stick Blackfish bite with beautiful 4-8 pounders flying over the rails early! 🔥 fishing in cold, breezy conditions.

Keith Sr and Jr had their usual tog shootout and landed a bunch of beauties with Keith Sr landing the pool 9 pounder and Keith Jr high hook. Mike D had 6 nice Blackfish to 6 pounds. John Yee had 5-6 keepers and the second place 8 pounder. Tyler had 6 good ones, Mike G had 7 good ones. Ian’s group had a bunch between them.

Another great day!

Over 100 keepers hit the deck and an easy boat limit but a wicked ride home in heavy westerly winds. Gotta love eastern Long Island Sound in December. Large and tight.

Very good bite for Friday morning’s 20 angler Split Charter/Open Boat. First drop produced 40+ keepers to Pete’s 10.3 pound white chin. After a quick photo Pete released the beautiful Blackfish.

When that bite cooled off made a deeper drop that produced a nice mix of big Sea Bass along with another 25+ Tog. Pete had around 10 keepers, Brian Jr. had 4 beauties. Glenn had a bunch. Good solid day with 65-70 keeper blackfish, many 4-7 pounds, an 8 pounder, and a nice side of big Sea Bass going home.

More real good toggin for Sunday’s 18 angler Split Charter/Open Boat….

Solid steady pick from start to finish and another one drop shop. 90+ keepers hit the deck to Darren’s 8.5 pound pool winner. Lots of great catches again with Teddy landing a dozen keepers to 7.75 pounds, Darren landing 10 good ones, Miquel had 9, Dennis had 11. Len W had 10. Scotty put 7 good ones on the deck.

Lots of 4-6 pounders in the mix and a great day. Boat limit of 84 took the ride home.

Just an awesome bite for Saturday’s sold out 23 angler Split Charter/Open Boat trip.

One drop shop, 120+ keepers hit the deck to 8.5 pounds with lots of beautiful 5-7 pounders in the mix. Many 15-15.75” just shorts released as well.

Some great catches…Dennis R had 16 keepers to 7 pounds, Keith H had 17 keepers, Daniel S had 13 keepers. Jordan G took the pool. Everyone caught em and a boat limit of 100+ took the ride home.

Saturday’s 21 angler Split Charter/Open Boat endured breezy sloppy conditions but got it done in the end with a limit for the boat going home and some real nice fish in the mix. Dennis R took the pool and high hooks had 6-7 keepers. Mike D had a great day on the starboard side as well. Hard knock kind of day but ended up well.

Sunday’s 19 angler charter for the North Brookhaven Sport Fishing Club enjoyed a much nicer day. Took two drops to put together a limit+ for the boat with a few of the gang putting together real nice catches. Pool fish to Mike with an 8 pound beauty. Lots of quality 5-7 pound class tog hit the deck. Fun day with a nice group of gentlemen. Lots of shorts and some Sea Bass rounded out the catches.

Solid last few trips beginning with Sunday’s 24 angler charter for Ken D and friends. 73 keepers to 7+ pounds hit the deck. Good steady pick all day that added up nicely. Hi hooks had 6-8 keepers.

22 angler charter also enjoyed a good steady pick with 30 nice ones to 8 pounds on the first drop. Chipped away the rest of the day with 75 keepers hitting the deck and many just short. Good day. High hooks had 5-9 keepers.

14 angler charter slammed them good landing over 75 keepers to 9 pounds with an 8 pounder and several 6-7 pounders. Iced an easy boat limit and released a bunch. Hi hooks Jerry, Dennis, and John had 9-12 keepers each. Great blackfishing!

Friday’s 18 angler Split Charter/Open Boat had to hang close and grind it out due to a stiff breeze. Good pick all day though with lots of limits and a couple 4-6 keeper catches. Jake W had a great day bagging 4 beauties. Dennis R had the pool 6.5 pounder and 5 good ones. 49 keepers on the day with many 15-15.5” released plus some Sea Bass and a nice Codfish.

Beautiful conditions for Saturday’s sold out 23 angler Split Charter/Open Boat and the fishing was very good. Fished inside and outside waters to put together 110+ keeper Blackfish to 8+ pounds! Full boat limit with lots of really nice 5-7 pounders in the mix. Keith Jr and Sr were on fire decking 20+ each. Daniel and Marek had great days as well with 6-10 keepers. Jordan G had 8 keepers and took the pool. Lots of other great catches. They were hungry this day!

Saturday’s sold out 24 angler Split Charter/Open Boat started ok then was a pick for awhile, then a very good finish. Some of the gang really hammered them. Richard S had a dozen keepers, Daniel S had 9. Jordan G had 8, Chris L had 6, Marek and Walter had 4-5 each with Walter decking the pool 8 pounder and Marek runner up. Jordan D had 5. Several other limits. 73 keepers in total with many quality Tog in the mix. Three dozen big Sea Bass and a nice Triggerfish as well. Solid day of late October Toggin!

Sunday’s 18 angler private charter for Jason R, family and friends picked away all day at solid keepers and many shorts. By day’s end they had their limit plus of 56 keepers to 6.5 pounds. Dropped a monster that took a run and frayed ten feet of 60 pound leader until it parted. High hooks had 5-6 keepers and the catch was pretty evenly spread out. Fish on all but one drop. Dozen nice Sea Bass and a lone, lost Porgy. Good steady Blackfishing!

Beautiful weather all weekend and pretty good Saturday especially in the afternoon. Sunday was very good…..

Saturday’s sold out 24 angler Split Charter/Open Boat picked all morning before enjoying two good drops to finish up a pretty good day. Unfortunately the catches were lopsided with some doing very well and for others a struggle. Way it goes sometimes.

Daniel put 8 nice ones on the deck. Walter had his limit and the pool 7 pounder. Marek had 6-7 good ones. Dennis had his limit, Teddy stuck 4 good ones to 6 pounds. Dave had 4 to 5 pounds+. Few others limited. In total, 52 keepers hit the deck with many shorts and a side of Sea Bass. Still no hot bite but pretty good.

Sunday’s 21 angler Split Charter/Open Boat had much easier and steady fishing all day. Started with a little shot, then a good slug, then finished off with a really good long steady pick of Tog to finish up. Just about everyone limited with Chris landing 10 good ones, Jermaine putting 7 on the deck including the pool 8 pounder, Ken D landed 6 beauties, Dennis had 4, Mike D had 4, Keith Sr and Jr combined for 10+. Bud’s group had a bunch. Kevin had 5 keepers.

Good steady bite, 80+ keepers on the day, boat limit retained some went back. Lots of shorts plus a good side of 30+ keeper Sea Bass. First day we haven’t had to struggle to put it together. That water temp is getting into that magic zone now.

Bit of a grindy start to Blackfish season for Saturday’s sold out 24 angler Split Charter/Open Boat trip. A warm breeze didn’t help a soft scratchy bite but the group put a decent catch together with a few anglers bagging limits+ on a tough day of fishing. Keith H had 5 good ones to 5.5 pounds. Alan and Daniel put their limits in the boat to 5 pounds. Teddy and James’ group did well and bagged the pool with a 6+ pounder. 34 keepers made the 16” grade with a good amount of shorts.

A little improvement for Sunday’s 18 angler Split Charter. The last drop was the best, giving up 20 good ones. Had to work for them again. Several limits again to 7 pounds with Mark S bagging the pool. Mike D, John B & grandson, Mike R and Arthur K all had limits plus. 38 keepers made the 16” keeper mark on another picky day.

More improvement for Columbus Day Monday’s 19 angler Split Charter/Open Boat which saw beautiful but still warm conditions. A good first drop followed by a pick in strong current. Lots of Sea Bass added to the catches during the strength of the tide. Another good slug of tog on the last of the tide finished up a better day overall. Skip took the pool 8 pounder and had 5 keepers. Chris had 6-7 good tog. Dennis and others limited on tog. Finished up with 45 keepers making the 16” grade, many shorts and around 35 keeper Sea Bass. Not bad and a gorgeous day on the water.

With this cold snap the Blackfish should be chewing hard this week!

Saturday’s 8 angler charter for Walter had a blast celebrating Rich’s 50th birthday. The guys started off with Sea Bass which were not coming very fast. Pieced together a full limit of 60 big beautiful Sea Bass from another 2-3 drops plus some Scup. Finished up with a decent pick of medium sized Blues. Fun day!

Sunday’s 8 angler Split Charter was a one drop big Sea Bass slug fest first thing in the morning. Full boat limit of 65+ large to XL jumbos came quick before the bite slowed to a pick. Grabbed some Scup and then finished with a good shot of medium sized Blues before calling it a good day. Mike D had the pool knucklehead Sea Bass, one of his 11 keepers. Chris L put a hurtin on them in the bow as well. Everyone caught very well.

On to Blackfish!

Thursday’s sold out 10 angler combo Split Charter put one keeper Striped Bass and a load of medium sized Blues in the boat before putting a full limit of Sea Bass on deck to 3.75 pounds. Good day with lots of rod bending action. Some Scup as well. High hooks had 6-9 big Sea Bass.

Friday’s 14 angler charter for Andrew and friends had a real tough start to the day. Just a half dozen Blues hit the deck. On to Sea Bass and that was tough too! Only 8 landed. Went on the hunt for more Sea Bass and pulled out the day with the last drop. Loads of small Sea Bass and 50+ keepers to 3 pounds hit the deck to finish up. Scup as well.

On to Blackfish!

Saturday’s 19 angler combo charter for Dennis B put a nice mix of Sea Bass & Scup in the boat, then a good slug of Sea Bass to 3.5 pounds, then topped off the buckets with lots of Scup. Found time at the end to enjoy a very good jig bite on mixed sized Blues.

Lots of meat on a not so nice day.

Sunday’s sold out 20 angler Porgy/Sea Bass Split Charter/Open Boat enjoyed an awesome first drop. Lots of big Scup and plenty of keeper Sea Bass flying over the rails. Lots of double headers. Slowed for a bit then picked back up with mostly Scup after that but it was a killer bite. Drop and stick action!

Focused and Sea Bass to finish up and a couple deep drops gave up several more big ones including the honest 5+ pound pool winner.

Sporty ride home with a full boat limit of Scup and several Sea Bass limits with everyone getting at least a few. High hooks had 50+ Scup and 6-9 Sea Bass on the day.
