As part of the TLN EDGE conference I attended last week in DC, I “graduated” and got to walk the stage for earning my designation as a Certified Leisure Travel Specialist. It was so sweet having so many of my fellow SWBF agents there to cheer for me! I would argue we have the best team of agents in the industry. Thankful for each of these ladies and all the rest in our agency who weren’t able to come to the conference!

One cruise line that really stood out for me this conference was Windstar! Did you know that they are the official cruise line of the James Beard Foundation?! Or that you can cruise French Polynesia and package in an overwater bungalow stay?? And one of the most fun things- they do an annual “mystery” cruise! You don’t know where you are going, just the start/end port.

Surprise, surprise, I’m cruising again… back on Icon of the Seas! 🤩 Notice the size difference of the ship next to Icon. Believe me when I say that the ship matters, and they are not all created equal. (And there are some ships I would definitely stay away from!). Just while I am on this cruise, I have clients on:

All I can say is... WOW!🤩 This cruise looks to be incredible!! Has it been your dream to sail around the world? This may just be the cruise for you! Today is and today I am talking about Passports! You need a Passport for almost all international travel. If you are cruising roundtrip from a US port, you are only required to travel with a birth certificate and government issued photo ID. However, I *always* recommend having your Passport book because if there is an emergency and you need to get home sooner, you cannot fly internationally without it! The Passport card is also not valid for air travel, so I always recommend getting the book! Do you have any other Passport tips? Share below! 🚢 🌎 ✈️

Our final day onboard was fabulous! We went to CocoCay, and I got to visit the brand new adults-only Hideaway Beach area that officially opens next week! It is huge, lovely and has something for everyone. Spent some more time with Chief Dog Rover on the beach- so fun! And finished off this wonderful cruise getting a sneak peak of one of the TWO Aquadome shows. AMAZING! I cannot wait to come back in a couple months to experience it ALL, as this was just a preview. This ship is incredible and has outdone themselves! Reach out if you want to experience for yourself!

Day 2 brought lots more walking and exploration of this ship! So many fun things to do onboard! And we were able to tour every cabin type onboard, so I know what will work best for different clients. Topped off with seeing one of the shows that will be onboard, Wizard of Oz. It was AMAZING!

Such a great first day on Icon of the Seas! A few of the highlights: meeting , sailaway with fireworks, meeting Admiral Awesome (he is the cruise director just for the kids), watching one of the ice skating shows, and riding the carousel! What questions do you have about the ship?
