🪩 A little PMU education for those who are curious - please keep in mind that each person’s individual results will vary based on many factors (skin type, technique used, lifestyle, aftercare, pigment color, & natural hair type within the brow area (thin, thick, corse, sparse, full).
This is an example of a fully healed ombré brow from start to finish. As you can see, the ombré technique can look very natural & is a great option for those that like a more defined brow. While a shaded brow typically looks extremely bold when fresh - it will greatly soften once healed which creates a subtle yet defined shape. Ombré brows can be adjusted to your liking and the option to go bolder is always possible. Microblading blended with ombré (combo brow) is the perfect mix for a fuller yet natural looking brow.
Brow healing facts
- The pigment color is always darker when fresh and will significantly lighten/soften once healed below the skins surface.
- Colors often appear warmer when fresh. In order to avoid a cool heal (ashy/blue brows) warmth modifiers are added into your pigment. This mixed with the redness of your skin = a warm shade. Once healed the color will shift and neutralize. In the rare case that the color remains too warm - it’s extremely easy to adjust at your touch-up.
- A follow-up appointment is recommended to complete the process. As everyone heals differently, it’s important that I am able to assess how your skin did during the initial appointment & make any adjustments as needed. (Color, thickness, depth, aftercare etc.)
- Proper aftercare & following all steps provided is extremely important, especially in Florida.
- Your brows will be bold & dark for the first few days and then will appear blotchy by the end of the week to two weeks. The color may appear to disappear completely at one point. THIS IS NORMAL. The pigment will reappear once your skin has finished exfoliating. Trust the process. ✨
