We are currently conducting unplanned maintenance onboard Icon of the Seas. While our crew is working hard to address this as quickly as possible, there is still some work that needs to be done over a few days while the ship is docked. As a result, we'll be cancelling our upcoming September 28, 2024, sailing. We understand the disappointment this news may bring and we're truly sorry for the impact to your vacation plans. We have outlined next steps and compensation details for you.
Compensation Details
To try and make up for this unexpected circumstance, we're providing you with the following:
A 100% refund, including taxes and fees, Royal Caribbean pre-paid packages and gratuities, amenities, and shore excursions.
You'll receive the refund to your payment on file within 14 business days. Please note, some banking institutions may take longer.
If you used a Future Cruise Credit on this sailing, we'll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount, and we'll issue a new certificate.
Additionally, we want you to come back and sail with us, so we're providing you with a Future Cruise Credit in the value of 100% of your cruise fare paid to be used towards another sailing.

August 4, 2024
Dear Carnival Paradise Guests,
Our Fleet Operations Center continues to monitor Tropical Storm Debby, which is now moving in a
northerly direction in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Given the storm’s current location, the Port of
Tampa is now closed to marine traffic.
Once the storm passes, officials will conduct an assessment, after which we will have more
information regarding our operational plans for your cruise. We hope to be able to return the
current voyage to Tampa sometime late afternoon or early evening, Monday, although there is a
possibility it may be Tuesday morning.

To provide you with timely updates, as we continue to monitor weather forecasts and work with
port authorities, we encourage you to sign up for text alerts by texting CCL4 to CRUISE (278473).
