The Fundacsion Maikuchiga monkey sanctuary is located in the Colombian Amazon and works alongside the local community to help keep these incredible creatures safe from hunters and harmful rituals. The sanctuary provides a home and full care for these animals who are rescued from the illegal wildlife trade and help prepare them to be reintroduced into their natural habitat.

There are over 4000 monks in Cambodia. There are two types of monks - Novice and Bhikku. Novice monks can be as young as 7 years old while Bhikku begin their practice at age 20. An incredible moment was captured when our team was granted permission to photograph this group of monks while exploring Angkor Wat 🇰🇭
