Become Elite Soccer have had an action packed first few days in the UK 🇬🇧

The group started with a visit to St George's Park National Football Centre - the home of the English Football Association 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We have visited the home stadiums of Liverpool, Manchester United and Wrexham FC ⚽️

The group have trained with highly experienced coaches from the Welsh FA and visited their fantastic training complex 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Become Elite Soccer have also competed against English teams, which has been a valuable learning experience coming up against good opposition 🙌🏻

You know we don’t just do international sports tours, right?! We’re proud to lead the way in supporting local youth clubs to help children play, learn & grow together.

Some recent examples include:

⚽️ sponsoring local youth team kits such as (where once played)
🥅 shipping Lacrosse equipment to Greek schools and setting up clinics for them to help promote a new sport to their children, expertly delivered by the team!
🤝 promoting international collaborations between corporations, education institutes and community initiatives, such as the fun day in Brazil sharing soccer gear off the pitch and moves on it, with !

Day 2 of Charlotte Soccer Academy tour in the UK 🇬🇧

Players and family’s started Monday with a tour of the Emirates stadium, home to Arsenal FC. We then had our U12 & U14 play Beaconsfield Town F.C. academy who showed great hospitality.

Tuesday saw the group travel into London to take a walking tour and riverboat cruise to check out the sights. We then headed to the London stadium, home of West Ham United to see a London derby as they played neighbours Tottenham Hotspur⚽️.

NWI Lions England Tour Day 8. Drove 4 hours back from Manchester and hit some traffic right around Tottenham. We had quite a good game for our last one, Spurs vs Luton. What an amazing stadium! We had 3 sections so we all got a different views but as long as a game was going on everyone was happy! We finally had a home team victory as the Spurs came from behind to win. Another memorable experience! Made our way back to the Copthorne Tara in Kensington for our last night in England😢We had a delicious plated dinner to send the Lions off with a in style. After dinner the XL tour guides gave some class speeches that I’ve been told not to post🤪On behalf of Robert, Cat, Nathan, and myself, it was our extreme pleasure to show you what England has to offer! We hope you decide to return for another trip, maybe Greece;) and we will have a reunion tour! Cheers and safe travels back across the pond to Indiana🇺🇸

NWI Lions England Tour Day 7. Girls headed out early for games at Leisure United Laithwaite Park against the Wigan Club Girls. The girls gave it their all in their last matches of the tour. Everyone headed to the Salford City vs Sutton United match. We got early entrance to the stadium for a curry lunch buffet and a Q&A with the Salford coach. Our seats were in the standing section behind the goal with the home fans and man were they spirited! It was a totally different experience for the Lions due to the constant singing and chanting of the home fans. We even had balls screaming into the stands so the players got a very interactive game! The rains came and went and each time the sun came out we got a bonus from Mother Nature with multiple rainbows!! Pretty incredible to say the least!!! On the way home we detoured to the Etihad stadium for some quick pictures because we were heading back to London in the morning. We went back to the hotel and had another tasty buffet. Packing up for a 4 hour journey back to London tomorrow. Another great XL tour day for the Lions!!

NWI Lions England Tour Day 6 Part 2.

NWI Lions Day 6 Part 1. The Lions took a we drive over to Liverpool to take a tour of Anfield, the Liverpool Stadium. Gorgeous facility and our first self guided tour with a head set. After that the rainy and cold weather kicked in right as we were having our free time at the Liverpool docks. Hey, that didn’t deter us from getting our Beatles fix! From there the boys went to the Tranmere Rovers facility for some rainy training. The girl’s buses headed to different sites to play some more spirited matches against some Liverpool local clubs. Then we all headed back to the Manchester Hotel for a group dinner. The Lions got an added bonus when they found out the the Sutton United team was staying in our hotel!! They are playing against Salford City tomorrow and we’ll be there. The Lions got to get autographs and photos with the players so what an incredible ending to another jam packed day of XL touring!!

NWI Lions England Tour Day 5 Part 1. It was a rainy start to the day but a pit stop at Shakespeare’s house made the rain stop the sun came out! England is usually to be or not to be rainy;) Left for a tour of Molineux Stadium where the Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. play. Colorful stadium with some of the most amazing history in all of England! Drove down the street to their training grounds in Compton Park and received another top notch training session with 4 of their academy trainers. The Lions put in another quality effort so we took them back to the stadium for dinner over looking the pitch. Headed all the way to Manchester where our fun will continue for the next few days!

NWI Lions England Tour Day 4 Part 2. I didn’t think we could top the mornings events but watching the England vs Belgium match at Wembley stadium certainly lived up to the hype! The rain didn’t hinder the experience and England came through with a game tying goal in stoppage time! How exciting for the Lions!

NWI Lions England Tour Day 4 Part 1. The Lions got the rare experience of training at the Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre. What an amazing facility and the grounds were top notch! The trainers raved about the quality of play and appreciated our kids level of professionalism. Nice work Lions!

NWI Lions England tour day 3 was a huge success! We got a crazy cool tour of Stamford Bridge to see why Chelsea football is so magical. Then all 4 teams got to take on some more British challengers and the game were top notch! With just shy of 100 Lions, the pictures are quite extensive so there will be a part 2 again. Enjoy!!

It was a great tour week with Elk Grove Soccer Club.

They visited the sights and landmarks of London, trained at the world class facilities of Tottenham Hotspur and St George’s Park and toured the stadiums of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool FC.

Oh and they made it on TV as they welcomed out Burton Albion vs Leicester City on to the pitch in the Carabao Cup!

Over the weekend, they got to experience the Premier League opening weekend as they attended Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest on Saturday and Chelsea vs Liverpool on Sunday!

We have enjoyed sharing the English culture, footballing landscape and making memories of a lifetime!
