Located just outside of the Ortonville city limits you can conveniently enjoy all the weekends activities and also enjoy all the amenities of this lake home! August 16-18. Big Stone Vacation Home has two weekends left in August for the summer and some random spots during the week still open. Check us out on VRBO or Airbnb. We are on Big Stone Lake just north of Ortonville, Mn. We have plenty parking space for boats and trailers with ample outlets for electricity. We can sleep up to 12 with 8 spots for you to sleep without sharing a bed. Whether it’s fishing, family get togethers, or if you’re coming back to Ortonville for an event, we would love to have you. Huge yard with dock, boat lift and swimming area right outside your door for all your outdoor activities. Golf course, supper club, and boat rentals all within a half mile.

You will no longer be able to book our home through Evolve. If you have booked a future date with us through Evolve, nothing will change. Your booking will still be honored. Evolve has been a great partner and has helped us greatly in learning the business over the past 4 years but we are confident in taking over many of those duties ourselves. A lot of what they did was duplicated by VRBO and AirBnb so it will be an unnoticeable transition for the customers. New customers will still be able to book us through VRBO and Airbnb just like many have done in the past. There might be a couple days delay in being able to book while we switch over. Thanks again to everyone who has chosen to stay with us. Your business is greatly appreciated!

Big Stone Lake is at 969.40 today, which is about 1 foot higher than the usual range of 968 to 968.40 that we see through the summer months.

Make plans to come and stay with us this winter. Ice fishing has started and we would be happy to have you visit! All of our weekends are filled through the beginning of March but lots of openings during the week. We have enough beds and pullout couches for up to 8 to be able to have their own bed. A lot of the fun of a fishing vacation is being able to hang out together at the end of the day and play cards, pool, or whatever. You can even clean your fish in our downstairs kitchen. With our updated family room furniture we have gone from two recliners to a total of six! We have received a lot of calls over the past month from people looking to book this summer. We are nearly booked solid for this summer so we encourage people to plan for next summer to get the dates you want. We would love to have you come and visit us. We are starting our 4th year in business at Big Stone Vacation Home! We want to thank the hundreds of guests that have came to the Big Stone Lake Area and stayed with us since we opened. We are fortunate to be right on Big Stone Lake which offers great fishing and other water recreational activities. In addition to that, the hunting opportunities in the area are very good for duck, pheasant, and deer hunting. Our house also is a great place for family reunions or a place to meet friends and hang out for a few days.
