The Best time to harvest Herbs is when the plant is putting the energy to the leafs so you will find the most potent herbs during the spring. Later in the year when the flowers are being formed then we will be harvesting the flowers and leafs. The fall is the best time for the roots since the plant is beginning to rest and sending the energy to the roots for the winter. echinacea is one of those herbs that can be harvest year round. Come to our classes and find out more next herb class is in April on the 26th. Come stay for the weekend or the day fun for the whole family.

Have you ever walked the canyons of the blue Hills in the Cheyenne Gap area of osborne Kansas. It is beautiful and very rural, I alway try to picture what it was like when the pioneers first saw this rolling grass land and they passed over the pass coming into the valley.

Well the Hay rack is done and ready for tours. This spring, we will be holding steak dinner and hayrack rides and haunted hayrack rides. Keep an eye out on dates and ticket sells. Coming soon.
