It may be cold now, but summer is coming! Imagine 141 feet of Lake Huron shoreline steps outside your cottage.

Wake up to stunning sunrises. Spend your days swimming and playing in the water, and walking the beach as far as you wish. Take a nap in a hammock. Play corn hole or bucket ball with the family. Grill your favorite BBQ for dinner and roast marshmallows by the fire at night. You don’t ever have to leave the property.

And just like that, it’s winter at Haven!

This weekend our family was at Haven getting the cottages closed up for winter.

While there, we made a few adjustments to the house to welcome guests for the winter season! We updated the bedding with soft flannel sheets and cozy fluffy comforters, added boot mats at the doors, and brought in an electric fireplace!

The winter booking calendar is now available for any date after Thanksgiving. We've reduced the nightly rate of $329 to $250 for the winter season with a 2 night minimum. DM to book!

Whew!! Nearing the end of summer and the bike path is complete! It’s already gotten a lot of use over the summer- but with fresh asphalt, it will be better than gravel!

This bike path goes right into downtown Oscoda! It’s about a five mile jaunt if you’re into running or biking!
