Maybe someone will see this that would have an idea but the house mover that used to pull the boat out of the river used 50 to 60 ft I beams that had airplane tires attached to them and that would get pushed into the river on steel mats that trucks use and then the boat pulled up onto that then pulled up onto the shore and it would have to be about 4 to 5 ft off the ground in order for the inspection. So we had thought about telephone poles or railroad ties or just shorter I beams that could be lined up but anything I don't know that is our problem right there. It is about 30 ton

Somebody out there that we know has some equipment that can move this boat out of the river. We are trying to contact them.Without this we are in limbo with getting boat inspected. And, until that happens, we have to sit.
We are working with other people to make us what we need. However without the boat being able to generate income we are falling behind on important year beginning bills.

I normally sell tickets ahead of time for my Fall color tour trips in advance, however without people coming into the shop and riding the boat it's not happening as quickly. So in order to get money to pay our yearly rental amount, township taxes, phone and electricity I'm going to try and presale fall color tour tickets here and now. They can be paid through accounts that are connected to the riverboat and they are Cash App which is thequeen19610 and/or PayPal and use email: Laurieand [email protected] (Laurie Rice).

These three ways will ensure the proof you need for purchase. If, God forbid, we aren't able to get up and running this season you can either choose to keep the tickets for The following season or you will be entitled to your full refund. That cost for fall color weekends per adult age 18 plus is $25. Children between the ages of five and 12 will be $10 and children between the ages of 13 and 17 will be $15.
Be sure and include your phone number and desired date and time of departures. Weekend times on Saturday and Sunday starting the last weekend in September through the 3rd weekend in October will be 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. . Weekday times for fall will be noon and 3:00.
Hopefully this will help to also pay the person and or company that will get our boat up on shore for the inspection.

What was used to get the boat out and on the shore was about 50' ibeams on wheels that would be submerged so the boat could rest on them and then pulled on shore using mats to ride on. That way it is up in the air to be inspected.
We would have to have it pulled when the DNR could dedicate to being there so we could get it pulled, inspected, repairs if needed and then put back in the river all in one day, at the most two days. And that is if the township will allow it being that it will have to be on their beach. If they, DNR, would allow a diver to take pictures and inspect it, it would make life so much easier!
If it has to be out of the river we also have to remove the paddle wheel.

This year is the year that we need to pull the boat onto the shore in order to get a hull inspection from the dnr. Our house mover that normally does the job retired and sold his equipment to do that. So we are having a hard time finding someone that can do that for us. We have requested the DNR allow us to have a diver inspect it until we can find someone to pull it. We are waiting on that, until we figure something out we can't run for the season

SCHEDULE for 2023:
Memorial weekend: Saturday and Sunday noon and 3pm and Monday noon only.
June- Thursday through Sunday at noon.
July and August - 7 days a week noon and 3:00 pm September -Thursday through Sunday at noon
Fall color weekends (later in September-October) are at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm and weekday fall color is noon and 3:00 pm.

We will be running Memorial Day weekend. Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 at noon and 3 pm. We will also run Monday, May 29 at noon. Weather permitting. We’re excited to start this season! 🚢

🌞✨☀🌟 SUNSET CRUISE We are pleased to announce one of our communities biggest local and tourism attractions is back in action! After 53 years of smooth sailing we were as shocked as you were that we didn’t get our usual, uninterrupted launch to the summer season this June. We were shut down for our much needed first month of the short season, by no fault of our own. A marine surveyor from Downriver, that tried to have us comply to something that was not regulation to our getting our license, CAUSED MUCH undue stress, aggrevation and loss of revenue.
