⚓ Please note that the fish cleaning station at Wright's Landing Marina will be closed this Thursday August 8th for repairs. It is scheduled to reopen on Friday August 9th.

The schedule for the Spey Nation 2024 presentations open to the public on Saturday August 10th at the Pineville Boat Launch is now set:

Introduction and conservation - Daniel Ritz - 9:00am

Intro to trout Spey and adjusting the cast to conditions - Rick Kustich - 9:30am

Making the transition from waterborne to touch-and-go casts - Topher Browne - 10:30am

Anchor-centric casting - Zack Williams - 11:30am

Lunch free to all attendees - 12:30pm

Fishing with Skagit heads and understanding anchor placement / D loop - Jeff Liskay - 1:30pm

A tactical approach to the Swung fly - Nick Pionessa - 2:30pm

Since covid had interrupted Spey Nation for a few years, the presentations last year at Spey Nation 2023 focused on a reset covering mostly the basics of Spey. For 2024 the focus has been placed on taking your Spey casting and fishing to the next level with presentations covering more specific topics for improvement and advancement. There is something here for all Spey enthusiasts from beginner to advanced.
