LHF Horserides works out of Fischer's Family Farm (facebook.com/fischerslhf) with the hope of bringing peace and comfort to you through the experience of riding a horse through our happy places! You might end up feeling like family by the end of your time with us. It's just so much fun getting to know every single one of you. Options are available for all experience level riders. We have beginner
horses, intermediate horses, and even an advanced mare. Our herd is small, we know each horse intimately. Their personalities shine through on each ride, so don't expect to just sit in the saddle and go. You will actually be riding, under the careful watch of your guides, of course. We are frequently asked if we offer riding lessons. While we don't offer traditional lessons, we do offer a foundational, practical style of education which can provide a safe environment for your rider for years to come. Your safety is our priority, please read our safety rules:
• Our lead guide is trained in first aid and will carry a first aid kit with us on our rides.
• We will not ride if there are storms within 5 miles.
• Please judge yourself to know if you are in good enough health for riding horses.
• NO alcohol or smoking will be permitted.
• Wear long pants, weather appropriate clothing, and close toed shoes. NO FLIP FLOPS
• Helmets will be provided and required.
• Under Kentucky law, a farm animal activity sponsor, farm animal professional, or other person does not have the duty to eliminate all risks of injury of participation in farm animal activities. There are inherent risks of injury that you voluntarily accept if you participate in farm animal activities. KRS 247.4027
