FIRST, did you know that you cannot bring BOTH a laptop & an iPad (or other computing device) without getting heavily taxed? Not a new policy but they are starting to really enforce it.
SECOND, get off-property! There are so many fun activities in this area & an excursion here can make the trip really special. As examples, how about a dip in a cenote, a swim with a whale shark, a Mayan jungle expedition, an interactive food tour, or a snorkel in a turtle sanctuary. Kauai is Hawaiʻi's fourth largest island, sometimes called the "Garden Island”. I loved its waterfalls, beautiful canyon, & large green sea turtles. Many areas of Kauai can only be accessed by helicopter.

I am currently staying at the Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa. The property is beautiful & the destination is paradise! I was blessed with a quick tour of the largest 2 bedroom Teremoana Pool Villa, there are only 4 of these on property. These Teremoana Pool Villas deliver spectacular views of Mount Otemanu. They accommodate 4 adults & 4 children (or 6 adults). What do you think? 🤩

Curacao is a beautiful Dutch Caribbean island located below the hurricane belt so a perfect choice for that season. It is a blend of so many cultures, most natives speak 4 languages. I love the colorful town, an architect’s dream. 🏝️ 🦩

One of the highlights of our recent trip to Kauai, we loved our day hiking with a super sweet shelter dog named Kona! There is a similar program in Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii too. ❤️ 🐶

I get requests for cruises out of Baltimore a lot. Because of the smaller port & bridge clearance, these are usually older ships. I toured Royal Caribbean’s Vision of the Seas today while she was in port. It is probably not the ship for everyone as it doesn’t have the bells & whistles like the newer ships, but a potential option for a couple seeking a quiet sailing or a friend group creating their own entertainment onboard. I was able to see several of the suites onboard & learn about the ports on the Atlantic Canada itinerary. It was easy driving in & out of the Baltimore port & perfect weather. Definitely hard to walk off the ship as the next round of cruisers were boarding! ☀️ 🛳️

I just returned from Tauck Bridges Alpine Adventure escorted group tour! There are so many things I loved about this guided group trip: 1) no navigating/driving a confusing city on your own (avoid those stressful moments) 2) no standing in line for attraction tickets (it is all done ahead for you) 3) no figuring out train tickets in a different language 4) my teens made friends to hang out with during down time 5) hotel check-in & luggage handling all taken care of (especially helpful for my elderly parents) 6) special & unique experiences sometimes not even open to the general public & so much more!
This is my second Tauck Bridges tour & it just makes multi-generational travel easy. Booking through me it is the same price as online, but you gain my personalized service & expertise!

The six month passport validity rule is often forgotten. I always recommend your passport is valid at least six months beyond return to the USA. Even if your destination does not require it, the airline may enforce it!

Need to renew your ? Don't forget that an adult passport is valid for 10 years while passports for minors are valid for 5 years. What an adorable surprise today sent from Tourism Australia!! ❤️
Interesting fact that the male Emu incubates the eggs not leaving the nest to eat or drink for up to 2 months. Once the baby Emus hatch, he cares for the young for up to 12 months.
Australia will welcome international tourists this month after nearly two years of sealing its borders due to the pandemic!! 🇦🇺 🦘
