The character interactions at Aulani are so unique and fun! We spotted both Mickey & Moana greeting guests as they floated down the lazy river, Goofy *IN* the pool, and Mickey teaching hula lessons! I thought this was such a fun change from the typical meet & greets (which there were plenty of as well).

The Disneyland Resort as a whole is completely walkable which is such a nice convenience! On this particular day, I walked from the Grand Californian to the Disneyland Hotel (passing Pixar Place/Paradise Pier Hotel on the way) and back. Then from the Grand Californian, we walked through Downtown Disney into the theme parks. No busses ever needed! 🙌🏻

Our sailing is a Very Merrytime Christmas Cruise so there are fun holiday activities scheduled throughout the week. Last night, some special friends helped light the lobby Christmas tree! 🎄✨
We left Art of Animation and checked in to a Deluxe Room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort today! 🏖
These rooms are a great option for larger families (they sleep up to 6 guests 🙌🏻) or those who prefer a little extra space.
There are only a handful of them at the resort so I definitely recommend booking early if you’re interested in this room option.
