🔥 Elevated Wildfire Danger Across Parts of Arkansas Today!

See something, say something! There are no prescribed burns being conducted across Arkansas today. If a wildfire is observed, report it by dialing 911 or by calling the Arkansas Forestry Division at (800) 468-8834.

Campfires and yard burning are strongly discouraged.

Dry air and gusty winds (30 mph+) are expected at times today. Combined with high temperatures approaching 80 degrees and lower humidity, an increase in wildfire danger is probable. The main areas of concern include portions of northern, western and central Arkansas.

Ozark is in Full Totality for the Eclipse

If you are looking for a place to come for the day to sit and enjoy it, the 20 acres of the North Franklin County Fairgrounds is the perfect place. Right in town, but secluded. Bathrooms on site, great places for a picnic and right next door to the city park so the kids will love it!! And we have Eclipse glasses!! We also have a catch and release pond, so feel free to bring your fishing poles. (Must have your fishing license due to state regulations.) Bring your lawn chairs, ice chests, picnic and spend the day with us!! All we ask is no glass containers please.

Today is the day! Everybody is welcome to join us for the Eclipse Block Party at a Pig Trail Lodging in Cass, AR.
We will have biscuits, gravy, and sausage for breakfast 7:30-10.
BBQ will be served noon until 8:00ish.
Baggo tournament starts at 3:00.
John Umholtz music starts at 4:00.
Heath Sanders music starts at 7:30.
Don’t miss out on this epic Sunday Funday on the Eve of the total solar eclipse! Don’t forget your lawn chair.
Day passes are $10 per person today.
10 and under are free.

It's Karaoke night at Heathen's and all the games on all the tv's! Our friends over at Arkansas Brewing Company have Noah Gattis on stage tonight too! Work your way around the historic downtown square and experience Ozark! Remember, we are open until 2am!

In anticipation of eclipse viewers coming to town, Rivertowne BBQ will be open this Sun 11-2pm and Monday 11-1pm & 3-8pm. We will be closed from 1-3 on Monday so everyone can enjoy the show! 😎
