Today was the first day I wasn’t needed in the kitchen at the bakery(thanks to our amazing staff). Day five, not too shabby! I was able to sit, catch up at my computer, but also look around, and take some time to enjoy this beautiful space crafted by many wonderful people.
I’ve also been reflecting on all of your excited comments and posts, smiles and cheers as you walk past the shop, plus all of your kind words of encouragement in the conversations we’ve had this past week. To be honest, they’ve been making me well up with pride and gratitude. This is some hard work we’re doing, and being boosted by your positivity and kindness makes it so much easier to get out of bed every day.
I love seeing you all hanging outside of and in the shop, enjoying a cinnamon roll, a coffee, or a light lunch. This is what we’ve spent almost two years planning and working towards, and it’s so sweet ♥️ much love, Grace
