We just love how clean and cozy our house is every time we arrive for a visit. Thank you Meredith Lodging! The cottage got a little manicure this time, all new outlets, GFIs, switches and smoke/carbon alarms.

A full supermoon rising over the cottage lights up the beach like day! Still dark enough to catch the beginning of the Perseid meteor shower that peaks on the 13th. Summer days and nights are beautiful here. Walk to the tide pools, climb the dune and behold the entire Kiwanda bay! Catch the next full blue moon on August 30th! 🔵

We've had some great weather this week also fog and super low tide this morning. One could get pretty close to Chief Kiwanda Rock.

Wow, just 20 minutes from PC and we have driven by this spot 100 times bit never knew!
Alot of Disney and Oregon History. Settle in its a long watch but worth the time.
