The New Wave is an easy 0.8mi loop just outside of Page with great views of the surrounding area. The trail is free, easily navigable, and a great alternative to The Wave (the sandstone formation it is named after). Add this quick hike to your itinerary when visiting or driving by!

Horseshoe Bend sprinkled with snow is a rare but beautiful sight to be seen! Thanks to improvements made in 2018, there is now a guard rail at the overlook for safe viewing. The best time to visit is early morning before the snow melts.

No doubt Horseshoe Bend is one of the best places to enjoy the sunset! The gates to Horseshoe Bend close 30 minutes before sunset (around 5:45pm). Be sure to arrive early enough to get in and hike .7 miles to the overlook.
