Students took center court at last night’s basketball game to compete in the Shoot for Scholarship Challenge. Each participant was guaranteed a $700 base scholarship, with the chance to earn an additional $300 for a successful free throw and $500 for a half-court shot.

Five students sank their free throws, though none managed the half-court shot. In total, Dixie’s Lower Antelope Canyon Tours awarded $6,400 in scholarships to support their education.

This year we awarded 7 seniors with scholarships. Dixie's LACT does a Kick for the Scholarship during the fall and Shoot for Scholarship in the winter.

Today, we proudly conclude our cultural class with Paul Begay, an experience that has been both enlightening and transformative. Our employees gained invaluable insights, delving deeper into the rich heritage of Navajo culture. From understanding the profound teachings and historical significance of the Navajo people to exploring the deeper meaning and beauty of the Navajo language, this training has enriched our knowledge and perspective.
