After a sudden flash flood, maintaining the canyon becomes an arduous and time-consuming task. The dedication and cooperation of our guides, led by the exceptional canyon supervisor, Staci Walters, play a crucial role in ensuring the canyon's restoration. Their coordinated efforts encompass various activities such as clearing debris, repairing pathways, and ensuring the safety of the area. Despite the challenges, the teamwork and unwavering determination of our guides enable us to effectively restore the canyon to its pristine state after each flood.
Teamwork makes the dream work!!
Our phenomenal tour guides got the job done. With a lot of consistency and team work. We will resume tours tomorrow August 15th 2024. Thank you to our team for all the hard work.
Today, we honor Navajo Code Talker Day, a time to celebrate the brave Navajo warriors who played a crucial role in defending our nation during World War II. By creating an unbreakable code using the Navajo language, these heroes ensured victory for our country, our allies, and the world. We are forever grateful for the Navajo Code Talkersâtheir courage and contributions will never be forgotten. Thank you, Navajo Code Talkers.
